Psychiatrist · Adult & Pediatric · 20+ Years Experience

← Back to About Us

Dr. Jennifer A. Wood, MD, is the psychiatrist who conducts every patient's intake evaluation at Brain Treatment Center Michigan. With more than 20 years of experience treating both adults and children, she establishes and confirms each patient's diagnosis, reviews prior treatment and medication history, and manages any medication-related questions that come up before or during treatment.

Dr. Wood's evaluation is also where the practical side of care gets handled: she generates the insurance authorization documentation patients need for conditions like MDD, OCD, and PTSD, and for co-occurring conditions that often accompany them. Her intake evaluation is the first clinical step every patient takes, before qEEG brain mapping and treatment protocol design begin.

Working alongside Dr. Wallace, Dr. Wood helps ensure that every patient's diagnosis and treatment history are clearly established before a personalized MeRT protocol is ever designed — adding a second layer of physician oversight to every case.
