What is EEG-guided rTMS (MeRT)?

MeRT®, Magnetic Resonance Therapy, is a customized form of rTMS (repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) that uses advanced brainwave mapping to guide treatment.

We begin with a quantitative EEG (qEEG), a noninvasive test that measures your brain’s electrical activity. This allows our clinical team to identify patterns that may be associated with symptoms such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, or cognitive changes.

Using this data, we develop an individualized rTMS protocol designed to support healthier brain communication. The neuromodulation technology used in treatment is FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder and OCD and may be used off-label, within the practice of medicine, for other neurological and mental health conditions.
