Dr. Ramona Wallace is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Functional Medicine practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She serves as Medical Director for Brain Treatment Center Michigan and is trained in MeRT® (Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy).
Her work integrates conventional medicine with advanced diagnostics — including metabolomics and genetics — to better understand complex neurological and systemic conditions. Dr. Wallace has a strong clinical interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and PANS/PANDAS, as well as immune and inflammatory contributors to neurological dysfunction. She also works with adults seeking cognitive optimization through EEG-guided neuromodulation and lifestyle-based interventions.
Dr. Wallace’s research background includes publications on nutritional deficiencies, metabolomics, and functional medicine protocols, with contributions to peer-reviewed medical literature. At Brain Treatment Center Michigan, she oversees clinical evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing medical supervision to ensure MeRT protocols are delivered safely, appropriately, and in accordance with each patient’s neurological profile.

MeRT is a self-pay treatment. FDA-cleared rTMS, on which MeRT is based, may be covered by some insurance plans, including TRICARE, for eligible patients with depression. Our care team can help verify coverage.
