How Does mPNS Work?

mPNS uses magnetic stimulation, similar to the TMS equipment we use in our MeRT® treatment. But while MeRT focuses on the brain, mPNS focuses on nerve bundles.

Essentially, mPNS is a way to target the nerves associated with the chronic pain without requiring surgical implantation or drugs. The magnetic pulses reach deeper nerves without direct contact, and interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain. This results in pain relief and reduces inflammation in the surrounding tissues.

mPNS Treatment Process

  1. Comprehensive evaluation: We review your medical history and discuss your specific pain concerns.
  2. Precise targeting: We place a small magnetic device over the affected area.
  3. Gentle stimulation: You’ll feel a light tapping sensation as the device works to reduce nerve sensitivity.
  4. Quick sessions: Each treatment takes about 13 minutes, with no downtime—you can resume your day immediately.

Treatment schedule (may vary by patient):

  • Three sessions in the first week.
  • Weekly sessions for the first month.
  • Bi-weekly sessions in the second month.
  • Maintenance treatments every 6-8 weeks as needed.
